Do you also need a little more peace of mind?

Discreet reassurance for you and the people you care about

SoftCaring™ discreetly registers life and activity in the home through small sensors. In the SoftCaring app, you can see that everyday life is carrying on as usual. If no activity is suddenly registered while the person is at home, you are alerted so you can check that everything is okay.

No cameras. No microphones. No wearables. Just small signs that life is carrying on.

Simple reassurance in everyday life

SoftCaring is made for those of us who would like to keep a discreet eye on the everyday life of someone we care about. You can see that there is activity at home, and if things suddenly become unusually quiet, SoftCaring lets you know.

1

Follow life at home

SoftCaring registers activity automatically. A quick look in the app can give you peace of mind when you can see that there is life and movement at home. The person living there does not have to do anything.

2

You choose who is involved

Your care circle can include family, friends, neighbours or anyone else you both trust.

3

If life suddenly goes quiet

If no activity is registered, your care circle is alerted. One of you can then check that everything is okay and help if needed.

4

Professional backup

Sometimes you are at work, abroad, on holiday or simply too far away. That is why access to the Securitas 24/7 Control Centre is part of SoftCaring.

Small signs of an ordinary day

One of the nicest things about SoftCaring is simply being able to look and see that everyday life is carrying on.

Woman preparing food in her kitchen

Everyday life continues

The fridge has been opened. There has been activity in the kitchen. Perhaps lunch is being made. Small signs can bring a surprising amount of reassurance.

Woman having coffee in her kitchen

Good morning

There has already been activity at home. Sometimes that is all you need to start your own day with a little more peace of mind.

SoftCaring app showing registered activity

One quick look

The SoftCaring app shows registered activity. No images. No sound. Just small signs of life at home.

So the call does not always have to begin with: “Are you okay?”

When you already know there has been life at home, the conversation can be about everything else. The day, the weather, a cup of coffee or whatever you normally talk about.

If an alert is raised, it is followed through

Sending an alert is not enough. What matters is that someone responds and finds out whether everything is okay.

An alert should end with an answer

If no activity is registered for the period you have chosen, SoftCaring alerts your care circle.

The same flow can be started by an optional panic button.

The alert is only closed once someone has followed up and the situation has been clarified.

1

Activity suddenly stops

No activity is registered at home for the period you have chosen.

2

You are notified

SoftCaring alerts the people you have chosen for your care circle.

3

One of you follows up

Perhaps you call. Perhaps a neighbour lives nearby. You decide the best way to check that everything is okay.

4

If none of you can respond

Securitas 24/7 Control Centre is available as professional backup.

5

Help can come to the door

When needed, a Securitas response officer can be sent to the home.

6

Only then is the alert closed

The alert remains open until the situation has been followed up and clarified.

You choose who should be involved

Families and everyday lives are different. You decide who should be part of your SoftCaring care circle.

You

You use the SoftCaring app and choose your care circle and how long SoftCaring should wait before alerting you about missing activity.

The person at home

SoftCaring quietly looks after itself in the background. There is no app, watch or device they have to remember to use.

People you trust

Children, siblings, friends, neighbours or others you trust can be included.

Securitas backup

If nobody in the care circle can respond, professional support is available through Securitas.

No one needs to stand alone

Not everyone has family living nearby. Children may live in another part of the country or abroad. A small care circle should not prevent someone from having greater reassurance at home.

Professionally installed and tested in the home

You do not have to work out where sensors should be placed or whether everything is connected correctly. SoftCaring is professionally installed and tested.

Before the visit

Once SoftCaring has been ordered, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable installation time.

Have the SoftCaring package ready.
Download the SoftCaring app.
Have the names and phone numbers of your care circle ready.
The person who lives in the home should be present.

During the visit

The sensors are positioned and tested, the app and care circle are set up, and the alert flow is checked before the visit is complete.

Sensors are positioned and tested.
The app is configured with your care circle.
The alert flow is tested.
The connection to the 24/7 Control Centre is checked.

We do not leave until everything works

The installation is only complete once the sensors, app and connection have been tested. After that, SoftCaring quietly gets on with its job in the background.

More presence

SoftCaring should never replace care It should make more room for it

When you already know there has been life at home, contact does not always have to begin by checking whether everything is okay. The conversation can simply be about life.

Hans using the optional SoftCaring panic button

And if you need to call for help yourself

SoftCaring works quietly in the background without anyone having to do anything.

Rikke's father Hans is 85 and lives in Slagelse. He has chosen to add a panic button so he can also call for help himself if he ever needs it. That is his hand in the photograph.

One press starts the same SoftCaring alert flow, so the care circle can respond and professional backup is available when needed.

An extra layer of reassurance

The panic button is optional and does not increase the monthly SoftCaring subscription.

Reassurance without surveillance

We do not believe anyone should have to give up their privacy to gain more reassurance.

The person living at home should be able to carry on with life as usual. Those who care about them should be able to gain peace of mind without watching or listening.

No cameras

No photographs. No video. No way to look into the home.

No microphones

No audio recordings. SoftCaring does not listen inside the home.

Only small signs of life

Sensors register activity, such as movement or a fridge door opening. Not what someone is doing, saying or watching.

You decide how much the app should show

You can choose whether the app shows where activity was registered or simply that there has been activity. Some people want a little more detail. Others prefer less. What matters is that it feels right for you.

Choose the Starter Kit that fits the home

Homes are different. Some have one entrance, others have two, three or more. SoftCaring Starter Kits are therefore based on the number of entrances that need to be covered.

SoftCaring Gateway

Start with the entrances to the home

One front door means Starter Kit 1. A front door plus a terrace or balcony door means Starter Kit 2. A front door, utility-room door and terrace door means Starter Kit 3.

This helps SoftCaring distinguish between someone being at home and someone having left the property.

The kit contains what the home needs

In addition to entrance sensors, SoftCaring includes a Gateway and small sensors placed where everyday activity naturally happens.

You can also add a panic button and additional sensors if needed.

Ordering opens soon

We are currently preparing the different SoftCaring Starter Kits. Soon you will be able to choose the kit that fits the home directly here.

Who are we, and why SoftCaring?

We are Lars and Rikke. Both of us care for older people we love, so we know personally how much a little more peace of mind can mean.

Our backgrounds are in shipping. At sea, safety always comes first, and there must always be life on the bridge.

At home, we need to be able to discreetly see that life is carrying on for the people we care about. And to be alerted if suddenly it is not.

That is why we created SoftCaring.
